JJ Barnes

JJ Barnes is a co-founder of Siren Stories, and actively involved in supporting Jonathan McKinney in the music department. While she has never been confident with music, she is a Grade 3 music theory, has trained in flute, piano and clarinet, and spent several years studying dance. Her musical passions span everything from Meatloaf to Taylor Swift, and most of her musical performances involve dancing round the kitchen with a glass of wine.

JJ wrote the lyrics to Dead To Me by Hot Profanity, named the band Static Asylum, and sings in the band Blood On The Moon. Blood On The Moon, featuring JJ Barnes and Jonathan McKinney, appear on the Hollowhood soundtrack with their debut single ‘Til I Lose.
